It’s difficult to believe another year has come and gone, but the Plastics Recycling Conference (PRC) is almost here again! The PRC will be hosted in National Harbor, Maryland, from March 6th to the 8th and is where the plastics recycling industry meets.
Organizations and individuals can connect with more than 2,000 leaders from plastic processors, recycled resin buyers and sellers, and other key stakeholders. People in the industry can learn the latest on recycled plastic markets and trends within three days curated by industry experts. Attendees also experience the industry’s trade show hall featuring over 250 processors, compounders, equipment vendors, and others.
What did iSustain share at last year’s conference?
Last year we shared with attendees a wealth of information on the threat of microplastics spreading into landfills, road litter, and wastewater. We connected with the industry and shared that at iSustain we deliver creative recycling solutions to manufacturing and distribution facilities. Solutions range from chemical or mechanical plastic recycling, full circularity solutions, plastic waste sourcing, and not only do we handle waste plastics but food waste, cardboard, and metals. Key highlights of the conference were
- We delivered PureCycle’s PureZeroTM recycling program to conferencegoers.
- Announced our partnership with Sigma Stretch Film
- Showcased an art exhibit from the Tennessee Aquarium that represented iSustain’s philanthropic commitment to understanding microplastics.
We look forward to connecting with peers in the industry.
If you have a plastic waste problem or need plastic waste – don’t hesitate and register now. (Registration Link). We want to connect with you and make a change in our world.
“We are seeing other worrying trends. Since the 1970s, the rate of plastic production has grown faster than that of any other material. If historic growth trends continue, global production of primary plastic is forecasted to reach 1,100 million tonnes by 2050.
Our planet is choking on plastic.” United Nations Environmental Program
This conference is another step to connecting and networking to develop solutions to make an impact. There are turnkey solutions available for any business to simplify the waste stream process, create a circular economy, and exceed mandated recycling limits. That much becomes evidently clear at the Plastics Recycling Conference. You can learn more about our services here, and we hope to see you in National Harbor, Maryland, from March 6th to the 8th at the Plastics Recycling Conference.
We look forward to seeing you at our Plastic Recycling Conference Trade Show Booth 601.
