Dawn Huber founded iSustain Inc. in 2014. She was formally educated at the University of British Columbia, Canada, in the disciplines of Environmental Science and Forestry. Over the span of a 20-plus-year managerial career, she has developed a penchant for Business Development, Leadership, Finance, and Accounting. Her most recent ten years have been focused on the recycling industry – as a key member and then owner of two successful start-up companies. She lives by a client and employee-centric business growth and development strategy, enhancing the financial and environmental impact of iSustain’s customers and enriching the lives of iSustain’s employees.
Unique to the waste and recycling industry leaders, Mark has a combined ten years of specialty chemical and food ingredient manufacturing plant management experience, so he knows and understands our customers’ needs. His last eleven years have been spent in the waste and recycling industry from consulting, plant operations, and custom solutions implementation. His engineering background and Six Sigma certification allow him to implement practical solutions that have sustainable financial and environmental returns. Mark has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tennessee Knoxville and an M.B.A. from Christian Brothers University.
Rene brings nearly three decades of customer service and logistics management to iSustain. As FedEx developed and grew over her twenty-year career, she became a master of multi-task logistic management, meeting critical overnight shipping requirements and customer demands. After taking early retirement from FedEx she joined the waste and recycling industry, managing customers and logistics for an over 5,000 ton-per-month multi-shift recycling facility. She can not only see the “big picture” in global recycling logistics, but she knows what it takes to ensure timely freight movements and documentation, exceeding customer service expectations for iSustain Customers. Rene’s degree in Business Management was attained at the University of Memphis.
Before beginning her career in finance, Ava attended Oakwood University in Huntsville, AL. She brings with her over 25 years of customer service experience, project and operations management, and specialization in building lasting client relationships. She has been working with iSustain since 2018 and has a deep passion for making a difference in her career, for the clients she helps, and for the overall growth of iSustain as a whole.
Adam serves as iSustain's National Strategic Sourcing agent and works in new business development as well. He is a native of upstate South Carolina, where he resides with his wife, Brittany, and their two girls, Atlee and Harper Kate. The last 12 years of his professional career have been dedicated to the recycling industry as operations manager for a local shredding and grinding operation and most recently in the procurement of recycled raw materials for Fiberon Composite Decking. His experience in the recycling industry includes plant operations, business development in sales and sourcing, customer relationship management, and industry consulting. Adam has a Bachelor of Science in marketing and business management from Clemson University.
Colby joined iSustain in 2015 after working in the food and beverage industry for over 18 years. Growing up in Southern California and now residing in the Ocean State of Rhode Island, he is heavily invested in keeping our oceans, rivers, and parks clean. As an avid surfer, Colby witnesses firsthand the impact plastics can have on our environment. Having two young children, he feels a moral obligation to leave them a planet that’s not polluted or damaged. Colby is an expert in providing sustainable solutions for businesses, helping them transition to zero-waste practices while saving them money. He has a proven track record of successfully designing, implementing, and maintaining waste and recycling programs that reduce waste costs, increase recycling rates, and help facilities achieve that Zero Landfill goal. His early years in the service industry have shaped how he approaches accounts: with compassion, interest, and a strong belief in doing what is right for his customers.

He is a seasoned veteran known for making recycling fun through programs like “Shoot for the Environment” with basketball hoops scattered throughout distribution centers. Additionally, he is experienced in developing solutions for never-before-recycled items in new Advanced Recycling Pyrolysis Technologies. Throughout his career, Elliot has successfully launched recycling businesses, implemented toll programs, customized equipment, designed for recyclability, and managed the movement of billions of pounds of recyclable materials. His proven track record is core to iSustain's networking success.
